About the project
Design

This housing project in Târgu Jiu explores the relationship between the apartment and its outdoor space. Continuous balconies, deep terraces and a recessed upper floor give the elevations depth and open the homes towards the city.

Volumes with a timber finish frame the terraces and alternate across the floors, giving the building a distinctive rhythm. Their rectangular geometry meets the curved lines of the corner balconies, while glass balustrades maintain visual continuity across the elevations.

Planting on the terraces and at roof level completes the composition. Pale surfaces, dark window frames and the warm texture of the cladding establish a contemporary expression focused on the scale and experience of living.
