About the project
The project proposes a place to pause and contemplate the landscape in Mehedinți. An elongated platform follows the edge of the hillside and extends through an open arm towards the view.
A sequence of pitched roofs establishes a rhythm along the promenade, alternating sheltered and open areas. Timber, a dark supporting structure and transparent balustrades frame an intervention that keeps the landscape in focus.
Stone landscaping and planting accompany the connection to the access path. The proposal explores the meeting of visitor infrastructure and its natural setting. The image is an architectural visualization of the design.
