About the project
Design
A raised volume with a loggia anchors the composition, marking the entrance and giving the house a vertical point of reference. The entrance arch, broad steps and deep roof overhangs create a sequence of thresholds between the street, garden and interior.
White elevations are articulated by shutters, slender posts and restrained decorative panels. Upper galleries and arched pergolas extend the house towards the garden, offering a personal interpretation of living with a sheltered veranda.
The renderings explore the house by day and at dusk, when shadows beneath the eaves and warm light in the sheltered spaces reveal the depth of the composition.
